RETAIL CUSTOMER SERVICE
Seeking a passionate and customer-oriented individuals to join our team at our Sherwood, Oregon location as retail Nursery Customer Service Representatives. If you have a love for plants and enjoy helping people, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
At Loen Nursery, we pride ourselves on having one of the largest selections of plants in the Northwest, and our goal is to provide exceptional service in a beautiful, friendly environment. We're looking for individuals who are plant knowledgeable, creative, artistic, and eager to engage with customers and plants alike.
Qualifications:
- Passion for plants and people
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Maintain a clean and organized environment
- Plant identification knowledge and horticultural expertise/ landscape design preferred
- Operate the cash register and process customer transactions
- Inform customers about upcoming sales, gardening workshops, or events held at the nursery.
- Strong customer service and sales abilities
- Artistic, creative, and enjoys working with plants and people
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers in selecting plants and related products
- Identify plant varieties and offer care advice
- Maintain a clean and organized environment
- Assist with inventory management and product displays
- Operate the cash register and process customer transactions
- Inform customers about upcoming sales, gardening workshops, or events held at the nursery.
- Share detailed knowledge about plant care, soil types, fertilizers, and garden tools to guide customers toward the best products for their needs.
- Help with website or landscape design and photography as needed
A Plus:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
- Experience in cashiering, inventory management, or web/landscape design
Job Type:
- Full-time/ part-time
- Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday shifts
